Forbes magazine named Jackson Hole Mountain Resort the top US Ski Resort for 2014. It has the "greatest ski lift in North America".
Skiing has never been my forte, but I have friends who live out in Jackson Hole who are experts. They absolutely cannot wait for the slopes to open so they can "shred some gnar" as they like to say it.
Back in 2009, a few friends and I drove out to Wyoming. Yes drove. From Atlanta. It was quite the adventure.
Have to visit Yellowstone and see the geysers and hot springs
Old Faithful erupting
Look at that view! We drove in jeeps without doors all summer!
These guys are EVERYWHERE!
One of the best places to eat in Jackson Hole. It is called Teton Thai. AMAZING food. We pretty much lived there. It is right in the middle of town by the movie theater and thrift store! Which you also need to visit!
My friend lived near all the buttes in Jackson Hole. This on is High School Butte. The climb is a lot more difficult than it seems.

Jenny Lake
The typical tourist picture in front to the Old Faithful sign
Yellowstone is where you will see the most wildlife. EVERYONE pulls over to take pictures too.
The springs at Yellowstone.
Ephedra Spring
My twin sister and I in front of Excelsior Geyser Crater.
The Tetons at sundown. Which in Wyoming is usually 9PM.
If you like the water, don't pass up a chance to kayak down the Buffalo River. It is freezing cold all year round it seems, but so much fun.

And of course a trip to Jackson Hole would not be complete without a trip to the rodeo! They do one every Friday night!
Jackson Hole's famous Gun Barrel restaurant. A must try! The elk is to die for!
Natural Hot Springs
Granite Hot Springs
Granite Hot Springs was like a big swimming pool...but hot!
Phelps Lake. The BEST fishing!
Death Canyon on the hike down to fish at Phelps Lake
The water is like glass
Disc Golf at Teton Village is a must. This is where most people ski during the winter, but during summer they turn it into a Disc Gold course. Very fun!
Hiking up an elevation of 7200 feet to Inspiration Point
I would love to get back there soon and possibly do some skiing, that is if I don't break my leg trying to jump off the ski lift!
