Our honeymoon specialist Candy Burnaine is at Sandals Emerald Bay this week. She wrote us to tell everyone about her fabulous time so far:
"Landed in Exuma shortly after noon, was a quick flight (barely over 2hrs) from Atlanta. Easy schedu...le and 10 minutes to get from airport to resort. Everyone who knows me knows I love to travel it's in my blood and I will never be cured. I always have fun but I am not easily impressed.... Today I am impressed! Not enough adjectives to describe Sandals Emerald Bay resort. Elegant. Refined. Classy but not stuffy. Personal attention. Getting anything you want or need before you even realize you need it. Unbelievable beach. Water as clear as glass. Unspoiled. Pristine. Sanctuary. Peaceful. And this was just the first day! I had heard the food is great, need to make some dinner reservations... Wait the butler did it before I arrived. Look he left us a snack when we came in from the pool... It had Gouda cheese as one of the treats... My favorite. I didn't ask for it...didn't have to I have been to Sandals before and they know their clients and what you like! Enjoyed a poolside cabana this afternoon then after dinner thought we should have turned the air down. Got back to room the butler already did it. Now my husband and I are enjoying our hammock for 2 right off our patio the wind is rocking us like a cradle and the stars look like they are within arms reach as we enjoy the sound of the waves right outside our beachfront suite. Champagne would be nice to go along with this but I didn't ask for it....good thing we have a butler...It was on ice and waiting. Lots of you have been to the Caribbean and even places in the Bahamas like Nassau and Freeport. All good but you NEED to experience this island and this resort. Different. That's it that's the adjective that says it all.
