Moscow

This weekend I watched my favorite movie of all time, Dr. Zhivago. The plot is set in 1940's and 1950's Moscow.

I have never been to Russia, but my grandparents used to go and they absolutely loved it. It is on my top ten places to someday see.

Dr. Zhivago is an incredibly love story but is also very heart breaking. If you have not seen it, it is a classic, and perhaps will make you want to travel to Moscow as well.

Moscow is a major political, economics, cultural, and scientific center in Russia. It is also the largest community of billionaires in the world. Who knew!!

Moscow is the largest city in Russia and has many attractions to visit. There are museums, cathedrals, and much much more.

The summers are very humid and the winters are long and cold. The best time to go is between June-August, when the weather is typically between 60-80 degrees. Unless you LOVE winter. Moscow tends to get tons of snow during the winter with a record of -44 degress. Burrr!

Moscow's architecture is world-renowned. It is known for Saint Basil's Cathedral, with it's gorgeous onion shaped domes. A must see when visiting Moscow.

There are 96 parks and 18 gardens in Moscow, which include 4 botanical gardens. It is a very green city. The parks have trails and children's attractions. Theater and art museums are part of the Moscow culture as well.

I hope you watch Dr. Zhivago and fall in love with Moscow, like I did.

Call us today and we can tell you even more!
